Hey folks! It was my first subway sketch ever last week, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the great time!

Feb 24th Solo Session

Here everybody! I'm wondering what time you guys meet for sessions. I think I missed the train everybody was on. Here is some sketches I did on the 24th.

Haven't done subway sketching in awhile but here are my drawings for the Feb 24th session. I'll have to get used to being drowsy there again!

Its always fun to draw a variety of different people, you can tell it is winter time here in Toronto and its getting pretty cold. Everyone is in their winter gears.

It was great time meeting with new friends and talking about art with others.
Peter gave me good tip how to draw ears since I had drawing the ear,which always looked kinda flat before.

Hello everybody, while I no longer live in the great north in the city of Toronto, I've kept up the habit on my daily commute to NYC. Some sketches courtesy of NJ Transit. People are mostly sleeping or looking down at their blackberries/ipads, as indicative of your typical morning commuter. Just some head drawings for now.

I led sketch group a few weeks back, only this guy showed up and I painted this background.

Hello people, I'm glad to be here at last! Only after posting these do I realize that everyone in my drawings looks either bored, tired, or angry. haha. By the way, this is my first post and I still don't know how to use my scanner, so go easy on me. But nice to meet you all!

A few sketches from last 2-3 weeks.
I'm trying to create a story when drawing the people, it really helps push the gesture and emotion behind the pose.
